The temps have finally cooled a little and we've had a little rain with promises of more this weekend. I've noticed leaves beginning to change and the sweet annie is starting to get some seeds although it won't be ready for open house. I've been so bummed because my bittersweet didn't get berries this year (does anyone know why?) so Judy, Linda & I are heading to the country to pillage in the woods for naturals to decorate with. We've never been ones to use artificials.....just doesn't seem right. Pray we don't get poison ivy!
I've been working hard on both old and new merchandise for Leola's. We'll start decorating on Sunday and will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to completely change the store. Check out my cashmere pumpkins......
I had a cashmere sweater that was kind of dated so decided to try using it and love the results. My pumpkins are stacking up in the living room. Sometimes I forget that I use my living room to stockpile before open house. When an appliance repairman came last week, I noticed him checking things out. Figured he thought I was a hoarder.
Guess I'd better get moving this morning if I'm going to the country with the sisters. Hope you enjoy this beautiful Tuesday.
Happy birthday, Kenda!
