I truly love this time of year.....especially when I let it happen instead of trying to force it. After many years of thinking I could make this perfect holiday season like we see in the Hallmark movies, the realization came to me that my perfect holiday isn't necessarily the "perfect holiday" that we see on television. Peace and quiet and the time to really think about the true meaning of the season is so important to me.
My most favorite thing is attending the g'kids concerts and listening to the sweet voices.....
This is definitely on my "favorites" list.....
Oh, how I love nice, cozy flannel sheets on all the beds. This is Sage's bed at my house and some afternoons, it's hard not to crawl in it and take a nap.
It truly is the simple things that make memories. When you set with a group of friends and discuss your memories of childhood Christmas's, it's the people and the traditions that stand out.....very rarely a gift.

I agree...There is no perfect Christmas. I have learned first hand by attempting to make a perfect Christmas you only set yourself up for failure which leads to misery...Merry Christmas to you, and I love that sweet little bedroom...
