Is this heaven or is it Iowa.....

Happy Monday morning! Have to go to work but wanted to post one more day of our trip to Iowa. This was our afternoon at Barb's (Simply Iowa) shop in Fairfax. Just driving up to her shop is a treat but when you walk in it's amazing. We thought we were in antiquer's heaven. There's no explaining it -- you have to see it for yourself. It is packed full & Barb is so good with her displays. It certainly made me re-think the way I do my space at Leola's. It made me realize I could put twice as much "stuff" in as I do. Check this out....

Here's Barb trying to hide behind a little piece of paper. She really is the best at what she does and it shows. While we were there, she had a constant stream of people and they were all from out-of-town.
Some of Judy's treasures.
We had such a good time in Barb's shop but left thinking we'd missed lots of good stuff. Guess we'll just have to go back. Thanks, Barb, for a fun afternoon.

She's a truly talented woman, isn't she? You should drive up for the show this weekend. I know it's going to be fantastic.

Oh my Gosh.... What a mess! I loved having you, but the shop, well, remember, it was right after 'sale'time, and ughhh. I looked as worn out as the store! I'm glad you visited with an open mind.... We would love to see you at the show, this weekend, if I can make it... I am truly running on fumes.
Thank You sooo much, for the kind words...

Thanks for the wonderful support, and most of all, the prayers...

Well.......I'm just trying to figure out when I'm going to go! Iowa seems to be the "it" place for it all.

Hey Jan!
The Amana Trees are amazing...I put old scrub pine in the holes, just to get an idea...WOW...wait til I cut the soft needle pine, like they would have used...
I am only taking 2 to the show, and will have one left. {not counting the one I am keeping!} I will take a pic, when I get it displayed at the show...
And as far as the shop goes....YIKES!!!
