I know we won't have too many more of these days but this was a gem. Went to church this morning. My son-in-law had an opportunity to go see a football game & since he & Allison had ushering duties, they decided to let the 3 kids help mom. They take these responsibilities very seriously & I love that they do. It was a wonderful service. When I left church, several of the little ones were standing at the big glass windows watching the wind whip millions of leaves every which way. There aren't many left on the trees.
The ferns in my front urns were looking bad. I pulled them out so I can fill them with greenery. It's that time.
Here's the 3 munchkins under a harvest moon. It was gorgeous!
Just couldn't stand it -- I had to start lining up some of my white reindeer on the mantle. I'm trying to decide rather to paint my fireplace before I decorate or wait until after Christmas.
I've loved this room since I first saw it on Theresa's blog http://gardenantqs.blogspot.com/. I have almost everything in this room -- just need some paint.
I have a mantle almost exactly like this but my fireplace is red brick. I'll paint the brick, then put up the old mantle. Would love to do it before starting the Christmas decorating. Just not sure if I have the time. Wish me luck!

LOVE this room, Jan. You know me, I'd stay up all night getting the mantle done. Either way it will look gorgeous and the reindeer are wonderful!
