Myra, who actually checks my blog out, brought it to my attention yesterday that I had not been posting very regularly. I promised her that today would be the day. This has been a kind of stressful week and sometimes dealing with life, dries up my creative juices -- & makes me pretty non-productive. So, thanks to Myra, I'm trying to get my life back & my juices. Wish me luck!!!!
There are several projects on the table in my work room & here's one:
I've probably made 100 of these stockings through the years for friends & family. My good friend, Annie, is adding 3 new people to her family today and is in need of stockings. So guess I'll make a few more. Wool applique is one of my favorite things to do but don't seem to have much time for it these days.
Also have some pillows to make. She wanted pillows made out of red & black plaid flannel like they have in the Victoria Christmas special edition but I don't know if it's just my town or what, but there is no red plaid flannel in this town. Next week we're suppose to take a little trip to Branson and I'll check out Quilts & Quilts and see what they have. They're some of our very best customers and I've never been there. We love to be loyal to our customers when we can.
OK, so I'm leaving you now and trying to get something done. It's one of those beautiful autumn days when the sun isn't out and the leaves are falling like crazy. Back to work!

So many projects and so little time, I feel your pain...I hope all is well with you, I know how hard this time of year can be with memories and such, but you're a strong woman, you'll see it through, you have some great projects going on there.
Take care friend!!!

Hello! I realy like this blogg! I like the nice photos! I came back soon! Have a nice weekend! Hugs Nina
Love your Christmas stockings, Jan! Also, I have my wonderful (fake, but look real) candles I purchased at Leola's out and about the place. Love the look! Gives me a chance to bring out some of Mom's nice old brass candle holders. I imagine Katie and I will be back for a visit to the shop soon.

Those stocking are just darling!
And yep, stress is a sure fire creativity killer, here's hoping it lifts soon!
Hugs,
Anne
Your Christmas stockings are absolutely adorable! It is so hard to find time for crafting when the daily grind wears you down. I sometimes can't even decide what to do, but once I get started, I'm on a roll. Hope you find some time to craft and recharge. Best wishes, Tammy
Hey Jan...
