What a week......

It started out good with a nice trip to find some antiques.  Judy and I took out on a road trip and tried to hit as many little towns as we could.  Hadn't been antiquing for awhile so it was a nice way to spend the day......well there was that short trip last week!!!

I love taking pictures of old buildings in our small Ozark's towns.  I always want to go back with some old chairs and a few other accessories, do a little decorating and re-shoot.

Cut some of my forsythia and forced it last week.  It's always such a treat.

Then evil entered my home in the form of a stomach virus.  Yuck.....have I ever told you how much I hate the stomach flu.  It was awful!  Luckily, it only lasted one night but can't seem to get any zip back.  I've spent a lot of time reading and trying not to feel sorry for myself.  It's not like I don't have lots of people checking on me and thankfully, sister Judy is in the neighborhood to bring me Popsicles and drinks.

Today it was nice enough for me to sit on the back porch and soak up some vitamins c & D.  Think I'm going to live.  I'm just a lousy sick person.

Have a great week and for all of you in the "big snow" areas of our country, hope they get you plowed out fast.
