Spring is popping out all over......
My sage....
The garden is going crazy. I don't remember such a beautiful spring....that might explain all the pollen. I've never seen so much "stuff" falling from the trees and my head definitely feels it.
This is the first time for this peony to bloom since I transplanted this from the old cemetery where most of my family is buried.....
I'm still planning on putting my house on the market. I just hope that whomever buys it appreciates the work I've put into the yard.
We had such a nice Mother's Day at my daughter and son-in-law's house. We had a big rain earlier but it cleared long enough to get in a few pictures.
We had such a wonderful day.....I so love the time I spend with them.
It's been a busy spring so far. It seems there are just so many weeks to get so much done. This week we have cousins visiting from California and they're coming to my house tomorrow night for dinner..
My sisters will be here and hopefully, my brother, who's not doing very well right now, and sister-in-law and my two cousins who we've been so close to even though they live far away. We'll all sit around the table that our great grandfather made many, many years ago and enjoy talking about old and new times. I feel so blessed to have such a big, loving family.
Feel so bad for all of you in the midst of the bad storms.....my thoughts and prayers are certainly with you.
Have a wonderful week!

Spring Open House time at Leola's.....
This picture came from Pinterest and not sure who gets credit but I loved the purple tulips. I'm going tomorrow to buy tulips for Leola's open house. I want the real ones....I need fresh!
The mood seems to be lifting, thankfully, even though it was so cold here today. The wind blew so hard and it was freezing. Wouldn't you know that I would have to load my car at home and then unload it at the shop. I just keep telling myself that it's almost over. I actually saw a jonquil in bloom down the street from my house.
Tomorrow will be another long work day but it's such a great joy seeing the shop transformed. It's going to be amazing!
Back to work!

Is it Spring.......
This weather is so crazy! One day it's cold and the next day it's in the 60's. I have flowers struggling to bloom, my yard is green and I saw a bird working on his nest.
This is a shot out my back door on one of those days recently when I had doors and windows open.
These are crocuses blooming in my daughters front yard.
Have been working quite a bit at Leola's and wanted to share some pics of my area. Love this bench. It's so hard to find benches anymore that I can buy and resale. This one was in bad condition as far as being really dirty with some stains and old paint on it. After cleaning it up and putting a nice finish on it, I took it to the shop.
This is one of Pam's pillows and I love it. She's so creative and has an incredible ability to think outside the box.
I'm on the road again today with Judy to pick up some furniture. Hope everyone has a wonderful hump day.

The blooms are coming.....
The early bloomers are beginning to show us signs that spring is coming. It's been cold here all week but tomorrow the warming trend is beginning. As I wondered around the yard looking at all the weeds that need to be pulled, couldn't resist taking a few pictures.
The plan is to get my porch cleaned off this weekend and maybe next week some new cushions. Also want to plant some lettuce, spinach and peas. Can't wait! There's a bench that's been waiting for some paint so hopefully, that will get some white paint on it.
Also finished the pillows this week. The customer is redoing their porch and needed the 2 natural colored pillows to go with some RL pillows she already had. I love when a project is completed.
