Some of my weeks treasures.

This has been a good week for finding "smalls". It has also been a good week for finding some fall & Christmas things. I have a growing collection of these old Gurley turkey candles so this may have to stay with me. I also have a large collection of white reindeer. My collection has grown large enough that I think I'll sell these. The Halloween items are not old but they will be nice to add to my space at Leola's along with other fall decorations I've found. The red/green plaid is a small tablecloth that would be so cute at Christmas time.

I love this old picture. It's very soft colors.
These books have been covered with brown paper and they're printed in Vietnamese. I just loved the way they look.

This is an old lamp bottom that has a wonderful finish & the platter is all crackly & stained.

Now if I can just get down to Leola's to work. I've had g'kids almost all week & I'm pooped. Maybe I'll wait until Mon. & take Sunday off. Aaaah, a day of rest! Happy weekend!

May it be full of peaceful and loving moments! I sure enjoyed my little pit stop at your house the other evening. Those girls are precious! And you are too!!!

You have the best music on your blog. I think I have gone on I-tunes and bought about all of them now except for this "You Belong to Me" song... which is next!

But I digress! Nice finds! I so enjoyed our trip to Leola's and I have to say, it was one of the best antique photo opportunities ever. You guys have such an eye for arranging vignettes! I hope we can get back that way someday!

Hey girl, you had a great day, my Granny used to have those reindeer, I played with them all the time.

Sounds like we may be moving the shop across the street, much more space...hopefully we can pull it off!!!

Have a restful(ordinary)Sunday Grammy!

Hey Girlie!
I do have vintage bottle brush trees, but they are packed deep away. The ones I'm finding, and wanting, are modern, when I'm done with them, you barely see the tree itself! Wait 'til I post one, they are way cool!
I don't usually re-purpose things, I truly love gnarly old things, as found, but sometimes I get a wild hair, and 'bring it out of the box'!
Love your blog!
'til next time,
Barb C.
