Making pillows for Leola's.....

I've been working really hard this week trying to get some pillows made for Leola's.  For some reason there has been a run on pillows and it seemed we were pillowless in the store.  It's hard for me to stay focused long enough to get much sewing done but I accomplished a little anyway.  The RL red gingham seemed perfect for summer and the 4th.  Somewhere I had purchased some old redwork pillow tops so one of those made a European size .  One pillow was from some old ticking I had & one from an old coverlet so I feel like I've accomplished something.

Kelli had the front of the shop looking so cute and patriotic today so I added my pillows to the red, white and blue.  Loved the mannequin.

It's that time when there's not enough hours in the day.  I worked this morning in the garden while it wasn't so hot.  It's looking great but I have to work at it almost everyday to stay on top of it.  It's amazing how many meals I can get out of it.  Last night I fixed pesto and a big ole salad and had leftovers for lunch with a few snowpeas.  It makes it all worth the work.

Mike's sister Susan & Mike (her husband) are coming this weekend.  Susan hasn't been here for quite a while so we're all excited to see them.  The little ones are out of school now so they're anxious to get summer started and head for the pool but first we're having an end of school pizza party at Wanna Getta Pizza tonight.  They look for any excuse for a celebration.

Love the pillow...really charming. And that mannequin is amazing. I would totally come into the store because of that alone.

And then I suspect I would find myself in trouble...

It looks so neat!

Sounds like you are having a lot of fun!
