A beautiful Missouri weekend.....

It was such a gorgeous weekend.  It was perfect for working in the yard and for getting some work done in the garden.  Luckily, I had excellent help from my friend & Kenda's son, Trenton.  He's been mowing my yard this summer and helping me around the house.  Don't know what I'd do without him.  He cleaned the weeds out of a large section where I have pole beans.  They have not produced all summer until now.
They were so good.  I'm still getting a few tomatoes too.  And the herbs are going crazy.  I made a big batch of pesto and froze it in muffin tins.  How nice to have it ready this winter.

Brenda had a little get-together at her new house and she let me take some pictures.  She has a space at Leola's and has been a friend of Judy's & mine since high school.  The side of her brain that makes you an excellent decorator is highly developed.  It comes so natural for her and she's always so confident in her decorating decisions.  Her house is wonderful.

Sorry but this one is a little blurry but I loved this cabinet & wanted to show it

Hope you enjoyed the tour.  Have a great week.

Love your photos Jan! And as usual, you make me feel at home with all your comforty shots. I think it's now cool enough for rug hooking and Caspers. Are you up for it soon?
