What is it with Mother Nature......

What on earth is going on with this weather!!!!!  It's cold again with chances of snow for the next 7 days.  I'm trying my best to ignore it.

Decided to start my tomatoes and basil.  I ordered seeds from Bakers Heirlooms in Mansfield and so far, so good.

Can't wait to see them in the garden but meanwhile, they'll continue to grow for several weeks under the grow lights and occasionally, in the window (if the sun ever shines).

Later today I'll pick some jonquils for my pitcher.  Until then I'm putting these beautiful oak leaf hydrangeas in one of my big ironstone pitchers.  My neighbor has this bush and it's one of my favorite flowers.  Didn't know until last year how well they dried.

I realize this is kind of a hodgepodge post but that's the way my brain seems to be working today.

This is a lantern that I ordered for Leola's and I love it.  There are 2 other styles that work so well with all my primitives.  Trying to figure a way to put one of my short battery candles in.  They're 4" tall & the perfect height for this.  Just have to think of a holder.....any ideas!!!!  Maybe I'll go to my little hardware store.

I also found this large selection of hankies.  They are beautiful but not certain how to sell them.  Think I'll just put a selection in a plastic bag and sell as a group.  The hard part is ironing them.

Better get my Monday started.  Hope everyone has a wonderful week.  If you happen to be getting warm, sunny weather, please don't share it.  Usually, I'm so happy for other's blessings but this week.....not so much!!!!
