A day for antiqueing.......

Judy, Brenda and I took off early on Friday morning for a day of antiqueing and to spend a little time working on the world's problems.  We eventually gave up on the world problems and decided to just make it a day of shopping and eating.

Our first stop was at Tattered Treasures in Lebanon.  We all love this shop.  They not only have antiques but they all know how to use power tools and make pieces useing old doors and various architectural pieces.  Brenda found a great fireplace to use as a headboard.  We all found treasures and we always enjoy visiting with Terry and Nancy.

After our morning of shopping, we were all starved.  We stopped at a great little restaurant downtown Lebanon and had a great cheeseburger and homemade fries.  Sorry I can't give you a name but it's not on their receipt.  It's a shame 'cause that was one great cheeseburger.

Next we headed down the highway to Route 66 Antique Mall.  I've told you about this mall before.  They're pretty pricey but they have the best primitive, early antiques of anyone around.  Usually, if I buy there, it's for my home rather then resale.

We headed home fairly early with Judy's car loaded down.  Seems like everything I buy I want to do a little something to plus I'm trying to hold things back for Spring Open House.  The garage and backporch are getting a little full.

Have a good Sunday.

Oh boy! Can I come and peek in your garage, and peer onto your back porch? Was in Leola's on Friday and left with goodies as usual......
