Inspiration

I've just been overwhelmed with my total lack of inspiration lately.  What I really need is to take a day and go antiqueing but it's so darn cold.  Yesterday was spent cleaning all the Christmas out of my space at Leola's so that at least looks better.  Wasn't expecting to be so busy and thought I'd just go open the shop and get a bunch of work done.  Lucky for everyone but me, it was crazy busy.  I didn't sell one thing of my own -- doesn't seem fair, does it!!!!

Since I have this case of writer's block, the idea came to me to show all the different women in Leola's.  Since Linda's is the first area as you walk in the front door, she'll be first.  I think Linda's style can best be described as traditional -- kind of Ralph Lauren influenced.  Our sister Jean also has a little space with Linda where she puts in some western things.  She's also done some soaps and lotions and a few food products.

We have a total of 13 ladies at Leola's and it will be fun to highlight them all.  It's so strange how none of us do the exact same thing.  We just don't step on each other's toes.  Everyone has their own niche.

Also, Happy New Year to everyone.  I have a good feeling about 2010.  Keep the faith.  Peace!

Love the pics. Didn't the Christmas season go fast? I have taken down all my Christmas things in my house, I was ready to move on...
I hope 2010 is a good year for you. As the days start getting longer, maybe we will all feel a little more energetic. It's -3 right now here and I just feel like hybernating.

Hi Jan!
Happy New Year!!!
I loved reading about your family Christmas. Your decorations were so pretty and cozy and as for your little angels...well, they are the highlight of your holiday!!! Too cute.
Don't feel bad about the writer's block. I think we are all going through that during the holidays...to much sweets consumed and now our brains are plain lazy!
I'm looking forward to more visits with you in 2010 and may you have a wonderful, wonderful year~
