Workday at Leola's.....

Yesterday was a cold and snowy day in Ozark so I assumed it would be a quiet day at Leola's but thankfully, it wasn't.  I'm thinking that everyone is so ready to be out and about and feeling like Spring is around the corner.

This week is going to be our friend and fellow shop owner, Janie's, turn to show off.  Janie is something else.  She's the life of the party and a continual ray of sunshine.  She's been in the antique business for many, many years and everyone around who knows and loves antiques, knows who Janie is.

If there's ever anything you need and can't find, check with Janie because she likely has it in a barn or storage building.  Here's one of her mannequins that she's decorated with vintage lace and jewelry.  She works harder then anyone I know but it's worked because she's successful at both her paid jobs -- she's also a hairdresser.  She's also a wife, mother and devoted g'mother and can regularly be seen swimming laps at the Ozark Rec. Center.  To sum it up -- she's a "hoot".

We're all working so hard getting things ready for Spring Open House so that's what I'll be doing today.  It's also my day to pick Sage up at school and take him to Sonic for a root beer float.  Hope you all have a great day and manage to see the sun shine.
