Beautiful day at Leola's.....

Spring has finally arrived.  There are buds on the trees & we have a pollen count again.  It was a gorgeous, bright, sunshinny day today and lots of visitors at Leola's.  It was a busy weekend so the shop was pretty messy and several large pieces piled in our backroom waiting to be picked up.  Anyway, I'm pooped tonight but wanted to post some pictures I took.

Brenda has been making these cute flat-backed baskets that would be wonderful on a door  or hanging on the knob of a cupboard.  She's also doing them with fresh ivy.

Janie decorated this wicker mannequin.  It's done with satin ribbons and paper flowers.  Would this not be great to keep your jewelry on!  She brought in some wonderful pearls hanging on it and I bought a long strand of light pink pearls.  She also brought in a collection of probably  30 old wooden and metal hangers.  They would make such a statement hanging all together on a wall.  They look very industrial.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another beautiful day so hopefully, I'll get a little garden time in.  I'm trying to plant according to the almanac so this week is root vegetables.  We'll see how it works.

I need one of those wicker mannequins. Your little children are darling. Love the fairy pictures.
