Spring has sprung......

It really is spring.  I took these pictures today in my front flower bed.  It's jonquils.  It was one of those amazing mornings when you wake up with so much energy and excitement.  I couldn't wait to get outside.  Of course, I'm paying for it tonight.  It's one of those nights when you groan everytime you stand up but I got a lot done.  Tomorrow is supposed to be even better -- then rain.  Oh well, that's what you need in the spring to get things growing.

It was my day to pick Sage up at school.   He goes to a special school on Tuesdays for very bright kids.  They do the most amazing things.  Today they made paper that looked like the paper that was used in ancient Egypt.  We are so blessed in Springfield to have a wonderful school system.  We have always passed tax increases to pay for schools, libraries and parks & it has been so worth it.

When we came home, I told him I wanted to take a picture of him.  Someone had mentioned that I hadn't had pictures of my g'kids on the blog for awhile so decided this would be a good day for pictures.  Anyway, he decided he wanted his taken in the tree so like I always tell him "whatever Lola wants, Lola gets".  When he was little he would tell me "I not Lola" but now he kind of likes the fact that he's Lola.  So here's Sage on a beautiful day in the Ozarks. The girls come home with Mom on Tuesdays.  They love kindergarten and have adjusted well to being in separate classes.  I think they kind of like it and they love their teachers.  They're getting ready to celebrate their 6th birthday.  Where does the time go?  They also answer to the name Lola.
These are tulips in my front garden that are coming up.  Maybe they'll bloom for Easter.

Tomorrow, Kenda and I are going on a little antiqueing jaunt.  Can't wait!  Love to find some pieces of furniture.  Hope you have a great Wednesday.

Great pictures! I'm so ready for spring! Yesterday, we got a taste of it with a beautiful day in the low 70's. This morning the clouds rolled in.

I do love spring, but just hope we don't get the torential downpours during the Zapp show! Last fall we loaded up in the rain and there was a river flowing through Mindy's tent!
