It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood......

It was such a gorgeous Monday to go along with an equally gorgeous weekend.   Kenda worked for me so I could load furniture to take to Leola's and take my car in to see why the dreaded "check engine" light was on.  I know it probably seems I've had lots of car troubles lately but this was the 3rd "event" so according to the rule this is the last (problems come in 3's).

I hated that I had to miss the antique show in Billings on Sat. but I hated to drive the car.  Phoebe was with me so we got lots of garden work done.  Kenda's son, Trenton, helps me on Sat. and he's great.  He had to stop for a while and pitch the ball to Phoebe then he put new rope up for their tire swing.  What a guy!

This is the piece of furniture I did some work on.  It was so dirty and the only way I could feel like it was clean was to paint it.  I love the way it turned out.

Here are some more shots from Leola's today.  It looks so good right now.

love the shabby chic cupboard! and the birdcage. Your treasures are just awesome, just my style... Oh and those little birdies, I want to find a few of those to grow moss on! I might just make them with some cement. Good to chat...

The cabinet look good from here! Very nice! And I always enjoy hearing of your gardening. I love to garden, but rarely have the time to dig deep. ~Mindy

Love the way the cupboard turned out, amazing what a coat of fresh paint will do.
