A great farm sale ......

The sale was great.  I was an hour late but still found some great bargains.  When I pulled onto the farm, it was packed with cars.  I was so glad for Linda, Jeff & Kelli.  They worked so hard in that heat dragging things out of all their buildings.  They deserved for it to be a success.
They have a huge barn on the farm that is leased out to a woman who gives riding lessons and takes care of people's horses.  They come here and ride their horses and some of the kids leave their horses here.
I'm still mad at myself for not buying this fence.

This is my favorite dog in the whole world.  I love Lucie!  She's my nephew Shad's dog.  She has a sister, Maggie, that stayed in St. Louis with her master, Rob.  We've missed them both.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  It's miserably hot here but I got some work done in the garden & fixed dinner from my bounty.  Sure would be nice to have a cool spell.  I need to work in my garage so bad but now everything is covered with a thick cobweb.  What's the deal with all the cobwebs.  They're everywhere.  Is this some kind of a precursor of what's to come?  Have a great weekend.

Hi Jan, glad they had a good sale, I'm trying to clean out my own garage, so I'm not buying too much. I bet y'all had a great time though. Dinner from the garden sounds heavenly!
stay cool,
Debra

Love that fence piece too!!! and the church pew. I always wished I had a table that would accomodate one... I don't and more than likely never will...

Jan, the sale looked like fun...and I would be mad for not buying that fence too...so cute! :)
I'm glad you liked my pics of Charleston, you're going to have a blast! If you like pecans and thick rich caramel, you HAVE to go to river street sweets! It's actually on market street down past a steak house called T-bones. They have free samples of their pralines on the counter...OH MY GOODNESS, I will crave those things forever! LOL Hope you have a wonderful time! The carriage ride was worth the money..it was a little pricey, but fun! (plus you learn stuff you wouldn't have learned otherwise). We had a blast! That place called Fleet Landing was a wonderful place to eat and very reasonbly priced. We ate there more than once! We also ate at a wing place..can't remember the name, but it was really good and very reasonable as well.
Have a great week!

The sale looked wonderful... what a hot day for it though. We had some rain in the afternoon and it really cooled things off.

Great stuff...I too went shopping in the heat...whew has it been hot...and the rain...don't get me started...this is the first year I've actually given up on my veggie gardens, every time I have a day off to work in it, it rains...it's gettin' mowed off today...if it doesn't rain...ha!

Hey, I think that old hotel in Eureka Springs was once a cancer retreat, home to a famous cancer quack that was run out of my hometown and settled there...till he died from cancer...Dr. Baker I believe was his name...he was sumthin else I guess!

It's cool this mornin', a little reprieve for a while...I'll take it gladly!

Hey Jan...
Thanks for the prayers for Peg... I am worried sick, about her... I offered to come get her, but she assured me, her husband, Mike, was taking good care of her... {he is such a sweet man.... and as confused as we all are....}
About the spider webs... I only wish I could train spiders, to do housework... They are amazing little creatures, and work non-stop...
Have a Great Day...
