Lunch at Rainbow Trout Ranch.....

It's quite a drive but so worth it to go to Rockbridge to have lunch at the Trout Ranch.  Jean, Linda, Judy & I started off early today to take advantage of the beautiful weather and just to get away for a little while.  It got rather warm but still very pleasant compared to what we've been having.  Above is the picture of the dining room & I think maybe there are guest rooms upstairs.  It's so pretty.

Usually this has lots of people fly fishing but no one today.  Maybe it was the wrong time of day for fishing.
This little building was in the town of Drury which had a total of about 6 houses and a grocery store.  Loved the Christmas wreath and the fact that no one had disturbed it.  It's a cute little town.

We had a great day and came home with a few purchases.  We always have to stop at the antique shops along the way.  This road also has 3 old mills that we also like to visit but not enough time today.  It's always a great drive in the fall.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Sounds like a wonderful day!

Your previous post about children is so true. Most people close their eyes to what is happening in the world. People get caught up in their own lives and don't realize that there is so much suffering.

Definitely have to stop and count our blessings each and every moment.

Have a fabulous weekend. :) Tammy

Oh, that looks like someplace I'd like to be!

Wow, that's quite a haul to go have fish, but it looks like it would be a good little jaunt on a pretty day. Will have to put that on my list of places to go visit.

What a great place to go and have lunch! I love trout too, and often we will go up to the N.E. Georgia mountains or the N.C. mountains to some of the trout ponds. Thanks for your visit! That garden is my grandmother's which I took photos of back in June. She always has something growing. It has been hot here too with lots of humidity, and I'm looking forward now to fall, but not winter!
Hope you have a great rest of the day!

Oh girl, I laughed out loud at your manicure comment, you must've used 123 Zinssur primer before...the problem is the drips in my hair...WD40 works great at gettin'um
out.

Today I finish the doors and touch-ups inside, then tomorrow(maybe today)(heehee)I'll start puttin' stuff inside, can't wait!!! It is truly a doll house dream...now the sun needs to come up so I can start playin'!!!

I'm hanging herbs from the rafters today too, I need to get the oregano cut. My garden is a disaster...but there's always next year. I'm schemin' on the front porch, do I do a deck or a gazebo...oh the dilemmas!!!
