A short roadtrip....

Jean, Judy & I were off on a short roadtrip to Iowa this week.  Sometimes you just feel you need a few days away to be rejuvenated plus the promise of a really good antique sale doesn't hurt so we headed to Iowa.  We went to Barb's place in Fairfax, Iowa, for her annual fall sale and was it ever a dandy.  She has an amazing shop under normal circumstances but when she starts dragging things out of her garages and sheds & then invites her friends to bring their goods, watch out!

We had such a good time at Barb's & then headed to Sister's for a quick stop before heading to the huge What Cheer antique sale.

We had such a nice few days on the road.  Tomorrow I'll show pictures of  Bonaparte where we spent 2 nights & one day.  It's such a wonderful, peaceful place to spend a few days.

Happy Monday!

Property taxes prevented me from leaving my yard, but would've loved to check out Simply Iowa' open house, it's always fabulous!
