My new, old fireplace.....

I'm loving how my fireplace turned out.  It has so brightened up this room.  I intend to paint the woodwork and door the same color but this project will have to wait until after the holidays.  In the picture of the room I loved, they had a coffee table that looked like mine but the base was painted & distressed.  Should I or should I not do the same to my table?  Can't decide.

Ahhh...don't you just love it? It looks so nice! I don't know about the table. Of course, with the door wooden, I'm inclined to say, keep the table. But, you said you'll paint the door. So...maybe? ~Mindy

I say paint the table base and legs and leave the top like it is. It will be beautiful! And I adore the painted brick!!!!
So happy to have you stop by today.

I love it Jan! Seeing inside your home reminded me of our visit last year. You know, you and Katie need to come to my house maybe over Katie's Christmas break. We can talk and eat.

OMG, did it turn out FABU...I'd wait on the table until you get the woodwork finished, then if it doesn't look right...paint it, it's a cool table and would look awesome painted and would further brighten the room...cam we have too much fun...I just brought a prim cupboard home from Sisters, I'll post the transformation tomorrow...weeeee!!!

Stay warm friend!

Hey Jan....
You truly 'send me'... I don't have time, it seems, these days to visit my blog friends, like I want to, and reply to their comments, at my blog.... but...something told me, to come visit you, tonight... and the best word I can find, to describe you, is.... 'peaceful'...I love all that you do...and you have such a 'grounding' effect, on my soul....
My Love to You....
{the Open House was wonderful.... it's all about the folks... the wonderful, true blue people, that love me, and the shop...'as found'...no matter... what a Gift...}
