A little trip to the country.....

Waaaay too early this morning, Judy, Jean and I took off for a sale in a town (not sure it could be called that) of Scofield.  Judy found it on facebook and we thought it would be a nice trip.  And it would have been if it weren't for the torrential rains, lightening strikes, and our getting lost a couple of times.  Here's what we found.....
Is this not the cutest place?  It just sits out in a field but not very far from the main farm house.  It was full of merchandise but was very cold.  Don't think they planned for the plunging temps.

This would be my dream to have a building like this to both work in and to have an occasional sale.  I would definitely replace the windows.

Thankfully, the rain stopped before we headed home.  Everything is lush and green and the creeks are all running.  Wild flowers are blooming and lots of people have their gardens in.  Check out these clematis crawling up trellises.  Clematis are beautiful this year.  We were so fortunate to not get the frost this week, and usually, by the 1st of May there's little chance of frost.  Keep your fingers crossed.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  I'm having family over for a little birthday party for Stella and Phoebe (don't tell them.....it's a surprise).  Can't believe they're going to be 8 yrs. old.  It will be fun to surprise them.  Their cousins are leaving for Colorado on Sunday so it will be great for them to be here for a birthday.  That rarely happens.

Glad you made the trip safe and sound despite the weather. That is a cute little place for a sale. Probably moreso on a warmer day. :) Have a great celebration weekend. Best wishes, Tammy
